Community Health Educator

Makhzoumi Foundation is looking for an enthusiastic person to take on the role of community health educator Intern. Responsibilities of the community health educator: To provide health education sessions to the community about primary healthcare services. To provide health education sessions to the community on different programs: Non-communicable diseases. Family planning Mother and child health care Vaccination Young infant nutrition Mental health Conduct outreach visits with the Mobile Medical Unit once per week to follow up on the health needs of displaced population. Conduct visits to community physicians to promote primary healthcare services. Participate in the creation of any material needed for community activities. Work together with the healthcare workers at the PHC and meet on monthly basis to follow up and evaluate the work achieved. Prepare focus groups educational sessions at the PHC with pre and post evaluation. Distribution of health information materials, such as brochures, posters, kits. Report on the weekly and monthly achievement on a monthly basis.
