Radiology Technician

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Commit to the internal regulations adopted by both MF and Health Center.
  • Comply with the requirements of the accreditation system.
  • Reinforce the primary health care objectives adopted by the Center (compliance with policies and procedures, patient-centered health care, improved quality of performance and services)
  • Adhere to Attendance Durations and Deadlines of performing tasks
  • Adhere to safety standards and principles of occupational health and attending training courses and applying relevant guidelines.
  • Respect the confidentiality of the profession and maintains the confidentiality of information received.
  • Develop him/her self and qualifications, stay up to date with the latest developments and share this knowledge with colleges.
  • Ensure satisfaction of beneficiaries of Health Center services.
  • Recognize the impact of his/her work on the performance of the Health Center.
  • Carry out the tasks assigned to him/her by his/her supervisor within the scope of his/her job.
  • Greet the beneficiaries and providing radiography services according to the prescription, policies adopted, and the conditions of protection adopted by the Atomic Energy Act.
  • Receive and confirm the radiography request before providing radiography services to avoid errors and exposing (crew/beneficiary) to radiation.
  • Provide the patient with instructions before, during and after providing the radiography services.
  • Wear radiation-proof clothing during radiography or stand behind lead barriers.
  • Adhere to the Health Center’s stated cost of radiography.
  • Record the name of the beneficiary and the date on the radiograph and the envelop clearly.
  • Record the information of the beneficiary, doctor, and radiograph’s type on a special record.
  • Provide the radiograph to the specialized doctor who will conduct the medical report.
  • Organize the work within the radiology department.
