The USAID-funded Promoting Active Citizen Engagement (PACE) program is soliciting grant proposals from responsible, legally registered Lebanese non-profit, for-profit, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) with experience in policy development, including think tanks, research institutes, and private universities.
PACE seeks to support the development of a package of policy briefs on selected citizen concerns through participatory consultative processes, including focus groups, roundtables discussions, and meetings with key stakeholders. The policy briefs may focus on the following themes: cost of living and consumer issues, youth employment opportunities, corruption, quality of public services at the local level, public participation in decision making, freedom of expression and politicized media, confessionalism and sectarian tensions.
Approximately $50,000 to $75,000 in funding is available for this activity. Interested applicants should request an application by sending an email to PACEgrants@msi-lebanon.com as soon as possible.
