The USAID-funded Promoting Active Citizen Engagement (PACE) program is soliciting grant applications from Lebanese NGOs to design and implement activities aimed at promoting civic engagement and advocacy on citizen concerns and policy solutions related to corruption and access to information, the quality of public services and local participation in decision-making, freedom of expression and independent media, and confessionalism/sectarian tensions. Grant sizes will range from approximately $125,000 to $250,000 each with a duration of 12-18 months. Interested applicants should request an application by sending an email to PACEgrants@msi-lebanon.com. PACE will initially accept applications on a rolling basis until March 15, 2013. Please note that the APS may close early if all funds allocated to the solicitation are obligated prior to this date. To ensure consideration, applicants are therefore encouraged to apply as soon as possible. Applications will be reviewed and evaluated as they are received, typically on a weekly basis.
