For more information on MSI, please visit our website at www.msiworldwide.com. Project Summary:  The Lebanon Community Resilience Program (LCRP) is a project funded by USAID/OTI. The LCRP provides strategically targeted support to advance peace and stability in Lebanon. **Please note: Only Lebanese citizens are eligible for this position.** Position Summary: The Grants Specialist will be responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality implementation of the LCRP activities in coordination with the Program Development Officer, Grants & Procurement Manager, and Grants & Procurement Assistant as part of a dynamic Activity Implementation Team. The position reports to the Chief of Party and is located in Beirut. Responsibilities: Liaise with identified grantees and communities within the area of responsibility to assist with the development of projects and guide the implementation of projects; develop and maintain friendly, open, and professional relationships with local counterparts, LCRP beneficiaries, contractors, suppliers, other international organizations as well as local and national authorities. Support Program Development Officer drafting of grant proposals and other related documents to be submitted for approval by LCRP management and ensure necessary feasibility studies, market analysis, and socio-economic assessments meet LCRP guidelines for resource support; monitor proper implementation of approved grants. Ensure the use of Environmental Screening and Reporting Form (ESRF) procedures for all grant activities. Work closely and collaboratively with the Grants and Procurement Manager and Procurement and Grants Assistant to ensure that materials and equipment are delivered and training for their proper use is conducted and serve as a resource to the grantee throughout the implementation process to provide necessary support. Maintain accurate and timely program and grant documentation in electronic, hard copy, and back-up copies, including ensuring that completed grants are closed in a timely way and according to deadlines. Support the maintenance of data quality in the OTI Activity Database, promoting the accuracy, consistency, completeness, and currency of activity data. Actively contribute to information sharing within the LCRP Project. Perform other tasks as requested by the Chief of Party and the Operations Manager. Minimum Qualifications: University degree. One to two years’ experience with grants or procurement on development projects. Proven ability to maintain professional relationships with local counterparts, beneficiaries, contractors, suppliers, other international organizations as well as local and national authorities. Task-oriented and able to work independently and within a team to meet deadlines.  Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
