Project/Proposal Summary: The USAID/Lebanon program entitled Citizens for Change in Lebanon will develop and scale up civil society and media programming through an approach that capitalizes on civil society and media investments in policy analysis, advocacy, awareness-raising, media, networking, and community engagement. The program objective is to strengthen civil society’s ability to act as a catalyst for change through civic advocacy, activism, and participation.
Positions Available:
Civil Society Program Specialist
• Identify potential civil society grantees and grant activities
• Develop civic engagement, social entrepreneurship, and capacity-building grants
• Manage implementation, monitoring and evaluation of all grants within assigned portfolio
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to grantees throughout the grant cycle
Media Program Specialist
• Develop media outreach plan and guidelines for developing grant-specific media strategies
• Identify potential media-related grantees and activities, esp. social media
• Work with potential partners to develop media grants and activities
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to grantees throughout the grant cycle
Grants Manager
• Maintain grant management policies, procedures, and practices
• Ensure compliance standards for USAID grants funding
• Develop grant budgets in collaboration with program specialists
• Prepare grant agreements and maintain a system of documentation for each grant
Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist
• Consult with USAID and key partners to finalize and operationalize an M&E system that is streamlined and meets the management needs of all parties
• Confirm baselines and targets to finalize and then implement the project’s proposed PMEP
• Effectively monitor progress and demonstrate results
Finance and Accounting Manager
• Manage budgeting, accounting and financial records for grants and operations
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Pay and account for grant and non-grant-related expenditures
• Manage bank account and monitor bank balances
Office Manager/Administrative Assistant
• Provide overall administrative support to program team
• Maintain adequate level of office supplies
• Maintain office filing system and personnel records
