Fashion Production Trainer

March is looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Fashion Production Trainer to lead a comprehensive workshop focused on pattern making and machine sewing. The facilitator will be responsible for the full delivery of the workshop, including planning, instruction, follow-up, and evaluation. The trainer must have hand-on experience in the field being conflict-aware, emotionally intelligent, and able to navigate sensitive community dynamics with respect and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead a full fashion design workshop
• Teach participants practical skills in pattern making and sewing machine
• Design a structured and engaging curriculum suited to participant levels
• Create a supportive, inclusive, and productive learning environment
• Submit a monthly progress report documenting workshop outcomes
• Conduct weekly and monthly evaluations of beneficiaries

  Required Qualifications & Skills

• Strong technical expertise in pattern making and machine sewing
• Hands-on experience in fashion design or garment production
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and skill levels
• Experience in teaching or workshop facilitation is strongly preferred
• A portfolio of previous fashion design work is required as part of the application
