We are looking for a highly qualified candidate who has the skills to join MARCH as a Project Coordinator for our projects in Tripoli.

Position Title: Project Coordinator
Reports to: General Coordinator
Department Summary:
The Project Coordinator is an integral member of the project team responsible for delivering building developmentprojects of varying size and complexity. The Project Coordinator is responsible for directing, organizing and controllingproject activities, under the direction of the General Coordinator.
Specific Job Responsibilities:
Project Planning
Define the scope of the project in collaboration with the project manager.
Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the Project
Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
Review the project schedule with the general coordinator and all other staff that will be affected by theproject activities; revise the schedule as required
Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion
Project Implementation
Execute the project according to the project plan
Develop forms and records to document project activities
Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured
Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successfulcompletion of the project
Review the quality of the work completed with the team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets theproject standards
Project Monitoring and Reporting
Compiling narrative reports for MARCH’s grant donors
Monitor and approveall budgeted project expenditures and ensure transparency and fair payments, that are mentioned in the procurement policy.
Ensure that all financial records for the project are up to date
Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation for funders to be submitted to the accountant
Deal with suppliers and coordinate payments with the Accountant.
Handle funds that are under his management with ethics and honesty
Project Evaluation
Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase
Other Duties
Hosting events both in MARCH’s offices and as part of broader conferences or summits
Completing administrative tasks, including office logistics, answering emails, etc.
Issue all appropriatelegal paperwork
Chair site meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members
Track the progressand quality of work being performed
Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and fordeveloping this attitude in others
Working Conditions:
Project Coordinators usually work in an office environment but the purpose of the project may sometimes take them to non-standard workplaces.
Project Coordinators work a standard work week but may be required to work some evenings and weekends to meet project milestones.
