Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular one-on-one sessions with participants who wish to converse with a mental health professional.
- Conducting assessments to identify the severity of mental health symptoms as well as diagnosing when needed.
- Developing and tailoring treatment plans for each participant on his/her caseload.
- Establishing positive and trusting relationships with participants.
- When required, refer participants to outside sources or agencies that can better address their specific needs.
- Maintaining the strictest confidentiality of each and every participant’s profile, needs, and –when applicable- diagnosis.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or other related fields
- Possession of all necessary state licensure requirements
- 2+ years of clinical experience, preferably working directly with clients
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to actively listen
- Solid relationship-building capabilities
- A positive and compassionate attitude
- Attention to detail
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize needs
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
