General duties and responsibilities:
- Conduct a daily variety of structured activities (recreational, psychosocial and non-formal education) within the center, catering to the needs of participants of different ages and genders and accordingly to the center activities weekly schedule;
- Work directly with both male and female participants at the center carrying out psychosocial support, life skills and awareness sessions activities;
- Conduct regular appointments with participants who wish to converse with a health professional;
- Create follow-up plans for each participant on his/her caseload;
- Complete documentation - Progress Notes for each session, treatment plans, and weekly/monthly reports;
- Establish positive and trusting relationships with participants;
- When required, refer participants to outside sources or agencies that can better address their specific needs;
- Maintain the strictest confidentiality of each and every participant situation;
- Plan and design the PSS activities in collaboration with the team members;
- accordingly to March Association guidelines on PSS activities;
- Be available to participate in meetings in the centers and/or in March Beirut office when requested;
- Participate to assessments and data collection and reporting related to project activities;
- Participate in any additional activities that may be needed to support the PSS activities;
- Reports data on activities conducted on a weekly basis to the Program manager;
- Collects from staff information about vulnerable cases that require follow up and intervention;
- Coordinate and draft a monthly evaluation report;
- Be available to participate in meetings in the center;
- Meets with other program staff as required;
- A high degree of flexibility is needed.
