- Lead the technical component of the project and liaise with project team members to ensure the achievement of project objectives and expected deliverables;
- Assessing the water and sanitation sector in Lebanon in general and in the 3 communities of project implementation in specific;
- Mapping the stakeholders involved in water and sanitation, including local and national authorities, the private sector, civil society organizations amongst others and their respective roles in the process of finding solutions and executing reforms;
- Developing resource documents and youth friendly material on water and sanitation that are evidence based (referring to legislative texts, national policies, contextual need assessments…);
- Preparing and delivering training workshops addressed to young male and female activists on water and sanitation, including contextual challenges and prospective reforms;
- Conducting on job support for young males and females who are active in the water and environmental Municipal committees in the 3 communities of project implementation;
- Conducting field visits to the communities of project implementation and provide support to the Youth Initiatives who implement advocacy interventions related to water and sanitation in the frame of the project;
- Monitoring project budget expenditure related to advocacy interventions on water and sanitation in the 3 communities of project implementation;
- Meeting with local authorities and other stakeholders, and provide technical support as needed;
- Lead and attend meetings with other project team members on regular basis and when needed;
- Report to Project Director on project progress through the submission of technical reports.
