Full Time Communication Coordinator

About Masar association Masar is a Lebanese non- governmental organization that was founded in 2005 with the aim to contribute to development processes and to the advancement of society. Masar works in Development with a focus on youth, and operates on the grassroots and policy levels. About the vacancy Masar association is recruiting a full time Communication Coordinator, to start working immediately upon signing the contract. S/he will be reporting to the Executive Director. General Description of Role The Communication Coordinator is fully responsible to ensure that all documentation of Masar’s work is captured and developed into products for online and offline use. S/he will be responsible for the production of communication material aiming to promote Masar’s work to public audience, stakeholders, or as requested by the Management.  Main Responsibilities -          Develop Masar’s communication and outreach strategy in line with the organization’s values and goals; -          Design publications of the content produced by Masar; -          Undertake on-site visits to collect and document the implementation of programs through photos, videos, audio, and other              multimedia formats to be utilized in the production of communication material; -          Sustain and manage Masar’s website and social media pages as per the agreed guidelines; -          Assure Masar’s visibility and branding on-site through the design and procurement of promotional material; -          Support in the production of presentations, video editing, infographs, leaflets, and newsletters; -          Support and advise Masar’s team on hardware and software tech-updates and solutions; -          Provide high-quality editing and formatting for program-related documents; -          Support Masar in organizing seminars, workshops, press conferences and high level meetings; -          Support youth- led initiatives supported by Masar organizations to maximize their visibility during project implementation; -          Assist in administrative and reporting tasks when necessary.  Required Qualifications -          Minimum of 3 years working experience; -          Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English: writing and speaking; -          Proficient in Adobe Series (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom, etc…), FinalCutPro (or equivalent), MS Office.                     Versed in electronic and print publishing and graphics methods; -          Basic HTML and website design/management skills; -          Familiarity in civil society work is a plus.   Interested candidates are invited to submit their CVs to info@masarlb.org by February 15, 2017 by COB.
