KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collect data and complete surveys to assess the needs in Syrian refugee communities, inform and select participants in Medair’s programming.
Ensure accuracy of assessments and provide leadership to data collectors: train casual labour, supervise data collection and ensure best practices in the field. Refer and respond to referrals as provided by your team leader.
Maintain a transparent, honest and supportive communication structure with the Medair team and beneficiary communities.
Be flexible, willing to assist in other areas of work as relevant and needed.
QUALIFICATION /EXPERIENCE:
Previous community based experience.
Experience conducting surveys, assessments or data collection.
ODK knowledge.
Experience working with refugees or Syrian communities
NGO experience.
