Major Duties and Responsibilities: (Responsibilities may change per project needs)
Plan and implement cash program activities
- Guide and support to the Project Manager throughout planning, implementation and monitoring of CVP activities.
- Ensuring all cash voucher programmes activities are carried out effectively and efficiently as per the Response plan
- Ensure cash voucher programmes are done according to the policies, protocols and guidelines.
- Represent Medair on the regional and district level government coordination meetings, providing inputs and active participation. Sharing information internally afterwards.
- Maintain files, documentations, records and archives of CVP related activities in the field.
- Maintain effective and efficient oversight, support, quality control and reporting systems and processes
- Ensure that gender, protection, the environment, and other important cross- cutting concerns are taken into account in program design, implementation, and reporting; ensure that activities reflect the needs of specific groups and individuals e.g. elderly people, children, and people with disabilities
- Contribute to tool development, planning sessions, and attend coordination meetings as requested by the PM Manager
- Oversee BA staff which includes setting a daily plan of work, monitoring their work quality, performing necessary approvals on Medair People (sick leave and vacation, etc), and creating a positive work culture
- Perform the probationary period appraisal and annual appraisal of assigned BA staff.
- General Responsibilities

Reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of activities e.g. through weekly and monthly reports.
- Ensure all paper work is accurate and correctly stored •
- Prepare the weekly and monthly report for his/her sector of responsibility;
- General Responsibilities
- Work within Medair’s operating policies, procedures, and software systems, ensuring the use of standardized formats.
- File and archive all electronic and paper documents in accordance with Medair (Data Protection) and donor guidelines
- Read, sign and comply with all Medair’s Code of Ethics policies such as the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Harassment, Child Protection, and the Prevention of Fraud.
- Work in cooperation with teammates and other departments
Person Specification:
- Prospective candidates should have a minimum of bachelor’s degree in a related field, for example finance, business administration, or social science, etc
- Strong knowledge of Project Management principles
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in working with communities in humanitarian or development contexts, in particular with displaced or refugee populations
- Excellent Arabic, written and spoken/ Excellent English, spoken and written
- Ability to translate between written Arabic and English
- Excellent computer skills (Word & excel, Internet, e-mail writing).
- Technical knowledge of digital data collection methods
- Passionate about serving the poor
- Self-motivated/Enthusiasm
- Team-player with excellent inter-personal skills
