Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Community Supervision:
Conduct check-up visits and supervise the teams of Lebanese and syrian community health volunteers involved in the health project
Provide continuous support to community volunteers
Assist in facilitation of regular meetings between Lebanese and Syrian volunteers in each area
Provide input to the integration of beneficiary participation into all aspects of health project
Reflect vision of MEDAIR when interacting with team members, volunteers and beneficiaries

Planning and Assessment
Assist in identification/assessment of training needs to the community health volunteers
Assist in implementation of assessments and surveys as requires
Assist in planning health activities
Assist in promotion of participation of community in health awareness activities
Assist in promotion of health services provided in SDCs
Communication and Coordination
Build relationships and maintain good communication with leader and residents of informal settlements in collaboration with health officer
Assist the health officer to maintain appropriate, regular, transparent and supportive communication structures with the assigned community health volunteers
Assist in maintaining good cooperation
Communicate issues to health officer/supervisor
Work on mobilizing beneficiaries inside informal settlements
Work according to the principles of humanitarian protection and confidentiality, and sensitivity
Reporting
Submit timely daily, weekly and monthly reports to health officer
Collect weekly reports from community volunteers
Ensure that appropriate and accurate reporting is done by the community volunteers
Ensure all relevant forms and sheets are duly filled and updated
Ensure all paper work is correctly stored in the right place
Logistics

Ensure that all standardised formats are used and guidelines are followed.
