Project description:
Medair is working in consortium with Tearfund and ACCTS, along with community based organisations, in Lebanon and Jordan to raise awareness of and promote greater understanding of well-being, trauma, gender norms, and available Reproductive Health (RH) and Psychosocial (PSS) services through a Creative Package of health messages, delivered by community health volunteers, care groups, and CBOs. In addition the project aims to increase access to RH and PSS services and to build capacity in communities and existing health structures to address RH and PSS needs.
Timeframe:
To be available in Lebanon from the week of Monday, 11th June to Friday 6th July (exact dates TBC). The final outputs from the consultancy are to be finalised and submitted no later than Friday 6th July.
Qualifications, experience and skills required:
The consultant will need to have a degree in fine arts / creative writing / communication / marketing or similar qualification and at least two years of relevant work experience. Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic is essential.
The relevant candidate will:
- Have a degree in fine arts/creative writing/communication/marketing or similar qualifications.
- Have at least two years of relevant work experience.
- Have proven experience in writing stories/plays/graphic novels/advertising. It is preferable for the candidate to have prior experience developing materials for promoting well-being. Examples of published work must be provided, along with references.
- Be competent in Microsoft Office.
