Mental Health Psycho-Social Support Volunteer (MHPSS)

Medair is currently looking for Psycho-Social Support Volunteers to join our team of volunteers for implementing our Community-based MHPSS Activities.

These activities include delivering Awareness Sessions and Peer Support Groups to Adolescents and Adults; with the aim of decreasing mental health stigma and increasing psychological wellbeing.

 

Experience:

· Are you looking for ways to support people around you and make an impact?

· Do you have experience in community engagement and social work?

· Do you have an educational background in psychosocial support, psychology, social work, or a similar field?

· Are you empathetic, a good listener, and a good communicator?

· Are you looking to develop and gain invaluable interpersonal skills?

· Are you fluent in Arabic? (And maybe okay at English?)

· Do you have a couple of hours a week you can use to support others?

If yes, join our Volunteer Pool and get the chance to support people from your Community!

· Volunteers need to be residents of the community they are volunteering in.

· Short-listed volunteers will be required to attend essential training before joining our volunteer pool.

· Working hours are flexible and coordinated by our MHPSS team.

· Incentives will be provided to support volunteers.

The project will be until the end of December 2023, with possible extension depending on performance and funding

ميدير تبحث حاليا عن متطوعين في الدعم النفسي الاجتماعي للانضمام إلى فريق المتطوعين لدينا لتنفيذ أنشطة الصحة النفسية والدعم النفسي الاجتماعي المجتمعية.

وتشمل هذه الأنشطة تقديم جلسات توعية ومجموعات دعم الأقران للمراهقين والبالغين، بهدف تقليل وصمة العار المتعلقة بالصحة النفسية وزيادة الرفاه النفسي.

هل تبحث عن طرق لدعم الأشخاص من حولك وإحداث تأثير؟

هل لديك خبرة في المشاركة المجتمعية والعمل الاجتماعي؟

هل لديك خلفية تعليمية في الدعم النفسي الاجتماعي، أو علم النفس ،أو العمل الاجتماعي ،أو مجال مشابه؟

هل أنت متعاطف ومستمع جيد ومتواصل جيد؟
