Pharmacist Technician- Saida

Summary of the Job:

Under the supervision of the Pharmacist, the Pharmacist Technician job is mainly to prepare the vaccines and maintain vaccine cold chain (VCC), alongside supporting the Ministry of Public Health’s vision and effort to tackle the Covid-19 pandemic. 

Main tasks and duties:

Commit to standards of care and professional practice.

Supervise the vaccines’ storage and maintain cold chain according to technical guidelines from the manufacturer alongside with national and international good practice guidelines at all stages.

Prepare the requested vaccines by mixing diluent or adjuvant following technical guidelines from the manufacturer alongside with national and international good practice guidelines.

Prepare vaccines doses and provide pre-filled syringes to the vaccination stations in a timely manner to ensure efficient workflow under the Pharmacist supervision.

Assist in the vaccination set-up process.

Dispose of bio-hazardous waste in the appropriate and prescribed manner.

Abide by all policies and work procedures.

Treat all patients with respect and professionalism.

Perform any other tasks based on needs to ensure proper roll out of the vaccination, upon manager and site supervisor’s request.

Qualifications and experience required:

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and he / she must have:

- Permission to practice Pharmacy from the Ministry of Public Health in Lebanon.

- Registration with the Order of Pharmacists.

Good experience in Pharmacy for at least 1 year.

Ability to have good verbal and written communication with all workers.

Basic Computer skills (especially in using the electronic medical file), electronic printer, fax, etc.

Languages: Arabic (Fluent), English (Good).
