Site Manager-Hadath Baalbeck

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee all daily operations of the site, including food, laundry, water, cleaning and supplies.
• Coordinate with all stakeholders and agencies involved to ensure smooth running and uninterrupted coverage of services, resolving problems and issues.
• Liaise with the health and protection team to ensure a high standard of patient and staff care and that admission, discharge and referrals protocols are followed.
• Co-ordinate with Medair Management, UNHCR, the municipality, providers, agencies and other stakeholders, including facilitating regular coordination meetings.
• Line manage the Deputy Site Manager and Logistics Assistant, and oversee the cleaners and security guards.
• Ensure that patients and staff are treated with respect and maintaining safety, confidentiality and professional ethics.
• Plan and ensure ongoing availability of supplies and equipment for the site.
• Set up processes within the site and ensure adherence by patients and staff to internal systems, policies, procedures and standards.
• Monitor and adhere to the budget and ensure that logistical and financial transactions take place according to procedures.
• Lead team onsite, ensuring a safe, professional and thriving workplace.
• Coordinate staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage
• Ensure the safety of those on site, including clear policies, resolving issues, mandatory training and implementation of Personal Prevention Equipment, decontamination procedures, waste management, public safety measures, infection control and procedures, fire prevention and control and PSEA.
• Ensure that patients have access to feedback mechanisms and receive timely and appropriate responses to their feedback and concerns.
• Regularly report to Medair, UNHCR and other agreed stakeholders, maintaining up to date data in a clear way which adheres to data protection procedures.
• Coordinate training, professional development and performance reviews for staff
• Perform other duties as required by the Medair management

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE:

-Age: 25-50 yearsIn good health and not suffering from any chronic diseases that make him/her vulnerable to infection with Coronavirus (COVID-19) (must provide the Medairwith a medical certificate from a general practitioner)Willingness to work in ahigh-risk COVID environment.

• Relevant degree ordiploma
• Experience with NGO in a similar position
• 3-5 years relevant post-qualification professional experience
• Experience in management
• Experience working in humanitarian emergency context/Experience in logistics and finance is desirable .
• Excellent English (oral & written)
• Native Arabic speaker
• Familiar with Microsoft Office programs, in particular Word, Excel, Outlook.
•  Ability to effectively coordinate and organise
