TOR MHPSS Technical advisor                                                 March 2017 This is an appendix of the service contract for MHPSS Technical advisor services.   “Contract: Part time consultancy 4 hours a week “   Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Mental Health Coordinator you will: Provide clinical supervision and support for MDM’s case-management teams including case managers and psychotherapists Provide necessary training for MDM MH staff (trauma therapy, CBT, NET, etc.). Provide guidance and technical support on developing specific activities and/or interventions for survivors of torture. Provide feedback when needed in developing quality control (appropriate methodologies, data collection techniques for assessments, indicators, and evaluations) of mental health specialized services interventions and community-based psychosocial activities. Advocate on all mental health related issues and/or concerns. Provide weekly feedback to Mental Health coordinator regarding MHPSS team’s needs based on support and supervision sessions. Coordinate with the mental health coordinator on addressing the needs of the MHPSS team. .       Skills and education Education: PHD in Psychology Languages:   FLUENT English           FLUENT Arabic   Personal qualities: Following the internationally accepted bio-psycho-social concept of mental health, believes in a comprehensive and holistic approach towards positive mental health, clear commitment in the project thematic. Ability to identify   strengths and weakness and in proposing shared solutions for the continuous improvement of providing quality services
