Pharmacy Assistant

The Pharmacist Assistant will be part of a medical team which will run a mobile clinic in different villages in Central and West Bekaa. The mobile clinic will provide free primary health care for Syrian refugees and vulnerable Lebanese in the area.   Job Description: Prepare the drugs and equipments according to the needs for each mobile clinic Distribute drugs according to the medical prescription. Ask the medical doctor to complete their prescription in case of incomplete information (dosage, duration…) Indicate the dosage of the drugs on the drug’s dispensing bag. Explain to the patient how to take his treatment, ask the patients to repeat the instructions and explain the side effects. Fill in the daily consumption form for each item. Computerize on a daily/weekly  basis the drugs consumption                                                                   Do a monthly inventory of the mobile clinic drugs Share with the medical coordinator assistant any problem (medical or non medical) occurring during the mobile clinic. Participate to MdM trainings and meetings. Requirements: -      Relevant degree or diploma in Pharmacy or Management of Medical Supplies -      A professional experience of 2/3 years minimum is required -      Work experience in a pharmacy or a medical warehouse is required -      Work experience with an NGO (local or international) will be an asset -      Fluent in Arabic, very good in English (French is an asset). -      Ability to compile statistics, write reports, and IT skills (MS Windows, MS Office, Internet). -      Diplomacy, ability to communicate, good relational skills -      Flexibility -      Organizational skills
