Main responsibilities
Provide psychological support to patients according to MSF principles and protocols
in order to improve the patients’ mental health

PROFILE
- Essential degree or diploma in Psychology
- 12 months experience minimum as a Clinical Psychologist.
- Desirable previous experience other NGO’s
- Arabic and English essential
- Computer literacy (word, excel and internet)
- Lebanese or Lebanese resident
- Ability to be mobile in the Middle East (6-12 months assignments, renewable)
RESPONSIBILITITES
- Carry out evaluation of psychological and mental health needs of patients, elaborate a diagnosis and establish a plan of treatment
- Diagnose any psychological or psychiatric disorder and if necessary, refer the patient to the medical team in order to receive drug treatment
- Provide psychological support and psychotherapy sessions (individual, family, group) to patients
- Collect statistical and monitoring data about mental health activities
- Under the supervision of the Project Medical Referent, collaborate with the medical team and other internal or external actors in order to provide the most appropriate treatment to patients
STATUS: Lebanese contract, (monthly base salary: 1684 USD per month, payed in USD) with relocation benefits: per diem in Iraq (approx. 400 USD/monthly), housing (MSF Guesthouse), health insurance, plane ticket to Iraq and back to Lebanon.
