- Scope of responsibility:
Implementation of mental health activities within the MSF mission in Bekaa valley (Majdal Anjar, Arsal)
Carry out mental health assessment, trainings, MH screenings
Evaluate the psychological needs of the patient
Diagnose any psychiatric or psychological disorder
Define the best response (treatment and strategy) to answer these psychological needs
Refer patients to a medical doctor or psychologist if chemotherapy is needed
Set up, maintain and work with a mental health community network
Supervise the mental health counsellors team

- Experience required:
• 3 to 5 years of experience in governmental or private hospital or practice is required;
Previous experience with nongovernmental organizations & management of mental health component is a strong asset.
- Required qualification:
• Psychology degree state recognized in CBT (Social-Communitarian approach)
• Fluent English & Arabic, French is an asset

• Ability to listen & open minded
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility & adaptability
• ability to work with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural people
• good organizational skills
