Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international medical humanitarian organization created by doctors and journalists in 1971. Today, MSF provides independent, impartial assistance in more than 60 countries to people whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe, primarily due to armed conflict, epidemics, malnutrition, exclusion from health care, or natural disasters. MSF in Lebanon currently has 3 projects mainly on primary health care and mental health, in Saida, Tripoli and the Bekaa valley.   -Starting date: ASAP -Type of contract: fix-term up to December 2013   -Scope of responsibility: Carry out interface-activities between the health structure supported by MSF and the population, in accordance with the MSF health activities -Function responsibilities include: Deliver information to the community (regarding hygien, diseases and prevention) using tools (e.g leaflet) and interaction with the people. Active case finding: Identify people with some problems/diseases (keep count of focused cases) and make reference to the health facility supported by MSF (e.g malnutrition, convulsions, massive diarrhea…etc) In some specific cases, after agreement with the hierachical referent, give immediate support for the time of the transfer (e.g a RTUF in case of severe malnutrition) In some context, possibilities of defaulter tracing after agreement with the hierarchical referent
