Community Worker

Responsible for health promotion, health education activities, epidemiological surveillance system, social assessment and patients support. Responsibilities: Organise and carry out Information, Education and Communication activities relating to mental health, mental illness and services. Carry out, when necessary, education sessions to patients and families Work in collaboration with the psychologist. Provide basic support to the patient when required, Monitoring, analysis and reporting: Gather /compile medical data on a weekly basis, in collaboration with other INGO and local NGO (epidemiological surveillance system relating to mental illness). Perform social assessments for vulnerable beneficiaries potentially affected from mental health disorders. Carry out home visits and follow up of patients in agreement with the psychologist. Defaulter tracing. Availability: at least 4 days per week (from Monday to Thursday) Flexibility to assume further tasks according to the needs and to work in remote areas. III. This position reports to: 1- hierarchical : Team Leader 2- technical : Medical coordinator Background: Social worker or paramedical. Prior experience: at least 2 years in similar community positions. Familiarity with or previous experience in mental health programmes is highly desirable. Basic Salary 1’083’184 LBP plus Benefits per month for 4 working days
