Field Finance Support

  • Analyzing the health financial coverage system in Lebanon, and more precisely the patient flow and their health care fees payment in Elias Hrawi Governmental Hospital of Zahle, Bekaa Valley, Lebanon (between the hospital and UNHCR/NEXTCARE for Syrian patients);
  • Performing one on one discussion with relevant interlocutors (Direction, Finance Department, Next Care Officer, etc.) with the goal to understand the requirements of integrating the MSF patients into the UNHCR coverage system in the hospital;
  • Analyzing, mapping and proposing a workflow system between MSF and Elias Hrawi Hospital;
  • Working with the MSF hospital management team in aligning the medical reports as per the Elias Hrawi Hospital standards as to facilitate the billing towards the insurance company;
  • Preparing the logical data model to support the cost recovery system while mapping the relationships between different entities and workflows;
  • Propose a billing system between MSF and the hospital;
  • Sharing a report, conclusion and recommendations of this analysis, and proposing a long-term sustainable procedure in which MSF will be integrated;
  • Supporting MSF Zahle team on all stages of the integration process: assessment and implementation.

Education

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Economics/Finance/Project Management or similar studies

Experience

  • Essential, working experience of at least two years in relevant and similar jobs

  • Desirable relevant experience in Project Management, preferably in the health sector
