Gynecologist - Female

MAIN PURPOSE: Implement gynaecological and obstetrician procedures, performing any other prior treatment required, during or immediately after a woman has given birth in order to improve women’s reproductive health and to reduce pregnancy, delivery and neonatology risks. This will be done in accordance with MSF policies, protocols and universal hygiene standards and in multidisciplinary collaboration with other medical doctors and midwife services,   ACCOUNTABILITIES: Provide health care related to gynaecology and obstetrics to patients, including prevention, diagnosis and treatment; Ensure the implementation of MSF clinical policies, tools, guidelines and protocols related to gynaecology and obstetrics in order to minimize clinical risk and to extend best reproductive practices; In collaboration with other medical colleagues, carry out the collection of quantitative gynaecological data and ensure exhaustive use of management tools in order to improve gynaecological results and to share knowledge among other field specialists; Supervise the maintenance and running of the gynaecological equipment and drug consumption, preparing new orders when required and ensuring its rational use; Ensure a good and clear communication with the referral hospitals; COMMUNICATION: Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialisation. Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options. Languages: speaking English or French is preferable/ Arabic is a must   Working hours: In rotation to assure 24/24hours activity.  Night and day shift needs to be filled in including weekends Recruitment Process: Only Short-listed candidates who fully meet the required criteria shall be contacted and undergo technical test and the candidates with the highest passing scores will then be invited to interview.
