Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion and natural or man-made disasters.
I- Function responsibilities:
a- Human resources management:
Daily supervision and management of: week’s schedule, annual leave, absences, etc)
Help in problem solving among the team
Evaluate needs for training and ensure training of this staff (formal/informal), under the supervision of the hierarchical referent.
b- Education and Training:
Responsible for the organization and implementation of trainings and workshops with target groups according to plan work on Information, Education and Communication (IEC).
Propose, plan and carry out education, training and workshops for educators, health service users, health professionals, public authorities, community leaders and other support groups to affecting the health of the population.
Develop workshops or lectures on project related subjects and the services offered by MSF.
c- Communication:
Represent MSF and maintain regular contact with authorities and stake holders at community level (community leaders, coordinators, social development actors, NGOs, enabling community health centres, schools, etc. .. .)
Carry out advocacy and communication activities aimed at improving knowledge of relevant health areas.
d- Monitoring, analysis and reporting:
Participate in the development of the plan of action
Participate actively in the monitoring and the reporting of medical activities (correctly fill in patient files, forms, statistics, reports) and propose analyse of these statistics.
Ensure a relevant transfer of information to the next duty team.
Report immediately to the technical referent any problem arising in the service, especially the loss/ robbery/damage of medical equipment or medicines.

The Health Educator Supervisor should be dynamic and extremely motivated with leadership qualities and diplomatic skills. This role is crucial to the effectiveness of the primary health care project
