Main purpose:
Support the HR Director through delegated tasks and responsibilities in order to recruit future employees for medical and logistic positions in close collaboration with the other members of the recruitment team.
The responsibilities delegated to the recruiter will be dependent on the final needs of future activities, but general responsibilities of the position includes:
Accountabilities:
By request of and in close collaboration with the HR Director and each department manager, develop, adjust and finalize job openings for the positions to open, respecting the recruitment time line;
Open the positions on the channels defined by the recruitment team and validated by HR Director regarding the developed recruitment time line;
CV screening for shortlist proposal on the candidates of each position with the selective criteria defined by the HR Director;
Arrange the tests (written or practical / individual or in groups) for the shortlisted candidates, assessing and organizing the venues, requesting the necessary tools to other MSF departments, so the tests can take place as planned by HR Director, hiring managers and Coordination.
Conduct interviews with the candidates in close collaboration with the respective hiring manager of each department;
Draft the employment contract for future hiring for HR director and Coordination approval based upon MSF standards;
Establish and update the personal files of the candidates in accordance to MSF document policy guidelines and Lebanese labor law requirements;
Keep accurate and timely written record of all steps of the recruitment process and the relevant selection criteria;
Follow-up of the approved candidates between the confirmation of their selection and the beginning of each contract date;
Assist HR Director with the translation of documents and contracts related to the recruitment process (Arabic to English and vice versa);
Ensure all activities preserve the integrity of the recruitment process and the principles and charter of MSF
Experience:
Essential Criteria: Previous experience of at least two years as a recruiter.
Desirable Criteria: Experience in recruiting for a humanitarian organization (I) NGO, preferably in MSF.
Competences:
Excellent ability of assessing transversal competencies of candidates,
Very good knowledge of the HR market including recruitment channels in Lebanon,
Very good organizational and planning skills,
Very good communication skills – written and oral,
Good networking and relationship building capacity,
Good team player
