Summary of the post Perform daily OPD consultations, provide treatment for patients follow the MSF protocols Identify severe morbidities and ensure proper referral to other Health Structures Contribute to epidemiological surveillance system  in the defined operational areas, networking with other health facilities in the south where Syrian refugees are settled for early detection of outbreaks. Participate in mobile health clinic activities, ensure proper recording of the patient files, and contribute to reports Respect infection control protocols and ensure effective implementation Ensure good communication amongst the Mobile Clinic staff, patients and patient families   2. Main activities   a)       Daily Consultations : Daily consultations for all patients (male, female and children) and provide quality treatment by ensuring the best medical care available as per MSF guidelines. Medical consultations for pregnant and lactating mothers, if required or referral to Gynecologist. Brief Health education on good health practices to patients during consultations Provide essential health information to the patients and family to increase public health awareness and to correctly use the mobile health clinic services     b)       Referral of Severe cases : Based on  clinical diagnoses identify patients in need of secondary health care and ensure timely  referral to the governmental health structures in the area Ensure provision of initial  necessary  medial services for emergency/trauma cases pre- referral to relevant health structure   c)       Surveillance : Ensure an adequate understanding of the health conditions of the population and report in a timely manner. To confirm  the reports of possible outbreaks by active search (house hold visits) not only within the operational sites but also in other locations when asked   d)       Management of daily work : Ensure registration of the patients and record  patient files, prescriptions and drug consumptions Ensure good documentation of the patients clinical findings, vital signs monitoring and treatments. Forecast of required medical drugs based on consumptions and discuss with nurse to ensure the availability of enough medicine on weekly base Contribute to the weekly reporting of the clinic activities highlighting any concerns and reporting to Field Coordinator any issues to overall management.   e)       Communication Ensure good communications with line manger for reporting of immediate case scenarios, outbreaks, mortality and referrals Ensure Patient friendly behaviour attitude  with patients and care takers/ family members Ensure teamwork spirit within mobile health clinic staff, by assisting and giving good guidance to his/her colleagues    f)         Hygiene and infection preventions control Follow universal precautions (asepsis and hygiene) and waste management procedure (sharp waste, contaminated waste).   g)       Training/ Meetings   Attend training and meetings done by MSF.     Additional tasks   On request perform any other additional duties given by the immediate supervisor in order to allow the organisation to function optimally       This job description has been done to clarify the responsibilities of the employee.   The work of MSF is characterised by a great flexibility and mobility.
