Nanny / Housekeeper 50 %

Operational / Technical responsibilities Child care &  Housekeeping Child Care   Plan daily activities for children, taking into account the children’s individual routines (sleeping, meals etc) Cook meals for children (respecting their diet if specific requirements or need), respecting healthy nutrition principles and ensure a balanced diet Know, apply and make sure universal hygiene standards and security Feed the children Keep children clean and tidy Tidy up play areas Entertain children and assist with homework when requested Bathe children Monitor TV time, computer time Accompany children from/to school or to activities and arranging play dates   Housekeeping Look after the inside of the premises, only letting authorised persons enter. Comply with the health and safety rules applicable to the site. Take a regular inventory of consumables (toilet paper, soap, detergents, etc.) and inform the line manager, in order to avoid depletion of stocks. Clean and tidy the house, in particular: Ventilate all rooms; Sweep and mop the floors; Make the beds every morning; Clean the toilets and bathrooms (detergent) in the morning upon arrival and in the evening before leaving for the day; Dust furniture; Clean ceilings, removing spiders and cobwebs; Wash dishes, if this has not been done by the Cook; Empty the waste bins. Ensure that there is always drinking water available (filter, bottles, etc.). Check that the toilets are well stocked with paper, soap and condoms. Check that the water supply (kitchen, showers, etc.) is sufficient during water cuts. Ensure that the premises are properly locked (doors, windows) and leave an outside light on when the premise are unoccupied. Tasks to be performed each week: Do the laundry and ironing every 2 days on average; Clean furniture at least twice a week; Wash towels and bed sheets once a week; Tasks to be performed several times a year; Clean the windows at least once a month; Wash curtains and other fabrics at least once every 3 months; Empty, defrost and clean the refrigerator/freezer every month; Wash blankets and mosquito nets at least once every 2 months; Water indoor plants; Air mattresses and expose them to the sun at least once every 2 months; Empty and clean all cupboards at least once every 2 months.      the occupants of the premises must be informed prior to any maintenance or repair work, so that they can safely store their personal effects. Prepare bedrooms for guests (towel, bed sheets, candle, etc.). Assist with setting up the premises for events or meetings. Reporting     Immediately inform the parents / direct supervisor if any issue / incident / sickness occurs    Immediately inform the direct supervisor if any issue in the house occurs
