Scope of responsibilities: General: Ensure the triage and supervise the management of the crowd, deciding which patients should be treated first Ensure nursing care for all patients based on needs Dispense drugs in case of need and be responsible of the dispensary along with weekly inventory and order from stock Participate actively in the registration of patients when needed Ensure nursing care, treatment and follow-up of patients and/or a population in accordance with doctors’ prescriptions, MSF protocols, respect of universal hygiene standards and according to context. Participate actively in the NCD program Participate actively in the pre-disinfection/sterilization process and infection control in general with the collaboration of the seilization unit in the maternity. Function responsibilities Patient Care: Ensure a good triage in the waiting room for infant, children, chronic disease patients and mental health patients Ensure vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate, respiraton rate, glucose level, Hemoglobin/hematocrit level), anthropometric measurements (including MUAC, Weight/Height), lab tests and write down all data needed Know, apply and make sure universal hygiene standards and security rules are respected for medical premises. Ensure asepsis rules during all nursing cares. Ensure a good isolation approach for a communicable disease case entering the clinic. In case of emergency, carry out first aid care, report to the doctor and apply treatment according to prior written MSF protocols. Carry out a therapeutic education of the patient (and family) using a patient based approach and do the follow-up on appointments. Be available for nursing care activities in case of need (vaccinations, Post-natal care, ...) Ensure information is provided individually, clearly and correctly when dispensing drugs.   Management: Make sure all material and equipment are ready for daily activities. Make sure the patient flow is working correctly in collaboration with crowd controllers and the team. Make sure the nursing care room and vaccination room are managed properly Make sure the dispensary is managed properly (organize, clean, temperature/humidity)   Monitoring, analysis and reporting: Register daily procedures on health cards, investigation form, nursing sheets. Register daily consumption of drugs, inventory and weekly order Manage efficiently the medical equipment and report immediately any problem especially the loss/ robbery/damage of medical equipment. Ensure a relevant transfer of information. Respect the cold chain protocol for Insulin and vaccines. Manage efficiently the vaccination activity inside the clinic (cold chain monitoring, nursing care, hygiene standards,  registering, reporting)   Education: Holding a Nurse Certificate Other: MS office (Excel, word) Upon request   Responsibilities to MSF General knowledge of MSF: Has a general understanding of the association, its functioning, structure and values (charter). Is aware of MSF’s objectives and activities in general and in the working context. Participates actively in meetings and trainings.   Co-operation with other departments: Provides support when necessary.   Information: Help the comprehension of general issues regarding social and political context through sharing of information Translate documents and/or interprets conversation when necessary   Additional tasks On request perform any other additional duties given by the immediate supervisor in order to allow the organisation to function optimally
