Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion and natural or man-made disasters. Scope of responsibilities: Apply nursing knowledge and skills for patients and/or a population (vaccination, dressing, injections, facilitate examination/diagnosis, prevention) in accordance to the context, to MSF protocols and to universal hygiene standards taking into consideration quality and continuity of care (drugs and equipements,storage, expiry dates, inventories and patient file,transfer of info for the next duty team) and carry out when necessary a therapeutic education of the patient (and family) using a patient based approach; Ensure a proper and organized collection of data on timely manner; and participate actively in the monitoring and the reporting of medical activities (statistics, reports,analysis); Support the  GP during his consultations, espescially regarding patient file management. Report immediately/monthly to the direct manager any problem arising in the service, especially the loss/ robbery/damage of medical equipment or medicines, inventories, follow-up of expired drugs and submit consumption figures; Participate in the development of the plan of action.

• Diploma or university degree in Nursing (Certificate is required) and licensed from MOPH;
• Work permit to work as a nurse on the Lebanese territories from the Ministry of labor. ((اذن مزاولة المهنة;
• Registered in the Order of Nurses in Lebanon is an asset.
Experience:
• Minimum 2 years experience in governmental or private hospital /Clinic as a nurse is required;
• BLS / CPR certified
• Previous experience with nongovernmental organizations as a nurse is a strong asset.
• Previous experience as a nurse at the community level and/or with displaced population is an asset.
