Main purpose
The Health Information Specialist will assist project team members with their data collection tools and further processes of compilation, reporting and analysis of information. He/she will establish Standard Operating Procedures in Data Management according to the dynamics and necessities of the project design protocols, define activities and perform follow up assessments in order to assure an efficient data flow process.
Accountabilities
- Evaluate the data flow process in mission projects and develop Standard Operating Procedures accordingly
- and implement data collection, compilation, reporting and validation procedures and monitor their quality.
- Ensure the availability of data and control the quality, relevance and accuracy of data during the collection, compilation and reporting at each stage of data collection
- Supervise the technical aspects in Data Management and propose improvements according to the necessities and dynamics of the project.
- Ensure communication and information sharing on relevant issues with the project personal
- in operational research, surveys, analysis, etc. planned for the project.
- Identify training needs and ensure the proper and continuous training of all data management staff (new and current).
- Develop and regularly update the M&E guidelines of the project in collaboration with the Medco
- Maintain regular contact and feedback with the referents in the field (Hierarchical and Technical) and the coordination on any questions or issues that can arise.
- Supervise the activities of Data Entry Operator and give technical support to Registration Clerks and Other Data Filling Staff.
- Guarantee the confidentiality of all medical information and ensure its safety through a proper data backup system.
- Provide assistance and support in all data related activities in the project upon request.

Experience • Paramedical back ground is an asset

• Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office and other work programs)
Languages Arabic and English essential
Knowledge Essential basic mathematics and use of measuring equipment
