Type of contract: 100% employment contract - 1 year - renewable
Place of work: Bekaa; current office in Baalbeck
Scope of responsibility:
Execute administrative and Human Resources related tasks to support the Project HR/FIN Manager following MSF standards and procedures, in order to ensure legal compliance and to realize the HR capacity required to achieve the project objectives
Accountabilities:
- Manages and updates all personnel files (including the HR database) in order to ensure accuracy, compliance and on-time payments and facilitate all HR processes
- Prepares employment contracts in conformity with legal requirements including specific amendments when necessary in order to ensure local labour and fiscal law compliance
- Draws up monthly pay slips for all staff, and final pay slip and employment certificate at the end of a contract in order to meet legal requirements while defending MSF’s interests
- Makes all HR and administrative information available to the staff (internal regulations, posting, meetings, etc.)
- Assists the Project HR/FIN manager in meetings and other activities upon request
- Supports and provides assistance to a qualitative recruitment process, including supervising tests and participating in interviews
- Participates in the organization and conduction of training sessions
- Supports a standardized and well-prepared induction & exit process
- Assists in the advisory of supervisors on all HR-related tasks, including shift and holiday planning, appraisal and contract follow-up
- Supports the Project Management Team in the planning of HR operational needs and the associated budget
- Follows up on the cost of living on a regular basis
Education:
- Essential Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in HR, Finance, Business or administration
Experience required:
- Essential previous working experience of at least two years in relevant HR/Admin jobs
- At least a year experience with HR software; Homere an asset.
- Desirable experience with MSF or other INGOs
Languages:
- English & Arabic are mandatory
Knowledge:
- Essential computer literacy (word, excel and internet)
- Basic knowledge about Lebanese Labour Law
