NURSE AID - 60% - Hermel PHC

- Function responsibilities include:

• Registering patients for ANC, PNC, Gynecology, SGBV and FP with respecting the confidentiality.
• Organising and supervising the patient flow
• Assist the midwife in organizing and providing care and treatments to patients, respecting the rules of hygiene, safety, comfort, dignity, medical confidentiality, at all times.
• Ensure cleanliness of his/her working environment (including facilities, material, linen, equipment, and carrying out the sorting and disposal of waste)
• Compensate patients’ possible lack of autonomy by assisting and helping them in personal hygiene, movements and general comfort.
• Respond to midwife’s instructions in case of an emergency.
• Participate in the basic health education sessions.
• Participate in the monitoring of midwifery activities (correctly fill in patient files, etc.).
• Report any problem arising in the clinic, especially the loss, robbery or damage of equipment or medicines.
• Work together with the midwife, nurses, cleaners and care-takers.
• Participate actively in the clinic platform (meetings, committee) and trainings.
• Participate in any other related activities as requested by the line manager.

-Specific activities:

• Participate in Patient Therapeutic Education, keeping a patient based approach during all contacts with patients.
• Report immediately to the technical referent any problem arising in the service, especially the loss/ robbery/damage of medical equipment or medicines.
• Perform any other tasks, as requested.
