Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is an INGO that works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. MAP delivers health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation and displacement. Developmental Action without Borders, NAbA'A is an apolitical, non-profit Lebanese organization which works with Palestinian and Lebanese communities. Naba’a’s mission is to empower local communities so that they can uphold the rights of children and young people; enabling them to play an active and healthy role within their society. MAP and NABA’A has been working in partnership since 2008 to address the unmet reproductive, psychosocial, and protection needs of marginalized women, youth, and children. MAP and NABA’A are posting a job vacancy for the position of a Supervisor for NABA’A’s Psychosocial Support Programme in Saida, Tyre, and north Lebanon. Job Title: Psychosocial Support Programme Supervisor Location: Saida (Ein el Helweh camp), Tyre (Burj el Shemali camp, Al-Buss camp, Rashidyeh camp), and North Lebanon (Beddawi camp, and Nahr el Bared camp) Job Description: Is responsible for the technical supervision of NABA’A’s Psychosocial Support programme, providing training for the team, putting a plan and distributing roles among the project team members, and ensuring compliance with minimum standards in the provision of MHPSS activities and services. Direct Manager: Project Coordinator Responsibilities: Oversee the work of the team through monthly meetings Provide strategic and technical advice to Naba’a on MHPSS program development, monitoring and evaluation; Provide supportive supervision of Naba’a’s MHPSS team; identify technical strengths to build on, and areas to address; provide advice to the management regarding staff capacity building needs , and contribute to addressing them through direct feedback, coaching and training activities Advice Naba’a on best practices related to the documentation of MHPSS work Provide monthly reports to the project coordinator
