Meidan’s mission is to address the complex challenges faced by fragile and vulnerable communities. Through its strong connections both in the private and public sector, Meidan aims to deliver measurable results in community resilience through the implementation of livelihoods, rapid response, and development programs and initiatives.
Meidan’s primary goal is to alleviate and mitigate some of the most pressing problems stemming from the multitude of crises affecting Lebanon and the effect they have on its people. It does so by bringing together a diverse team of individuals who blend a high level of academic and implementation experience from different industries and from creating sustainable connections across different sectors.
Meidan’s approach will combine innovative methods based on solid research, lessons learned, and continuous monitoring and evaluation to provide sustainable, long-term solutions which come from and are rooted in the people we are working with. Meidan recognizes the complexity of the problems facing Lebanon and the solutions can only come from a market-driven, evidence-based, cross-sectoral approach that engages all our best resources from across the country.
