- Reviewing the current Fundraising strategy and identifying new opportunities
- Developing Grants acquisition strategy and seeking grants accordingly
- Creating a resource mobilization plan and seeking grants accordingly
- Partnering with Communications department to ensure alignment and visibility of the foundation’s projects and activities
- Raising funds for the foundation according to the annual targets set by the ED
- Leading the development of a monitoring and mapping system for funding/grant opportunities and calls for proposals
- Writing grant proposals (including log frames & budgets) in cooperation with the Program & Finance Departments
- Proposing and organizing fundraising initiatives and events
- Leading the management of fundraising events (with partners such as PR agencies and event companies)
- Developing contingency plans for fundraising events identifying risks and steps for mitigation
- Contributing to networking & partnership building where necessary
- Representing Mentor Arabia at donors’ meetings and building strong relationships with potential donors and sponsors
- Managing fundraising department budget and reporting on all funds (income and expenditures)
