Head of Programs

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and oversee the strategic direction of Mentor Arabia’s programs, ensuring impact, scalability, and sustainability.
  • Program Development & Implementation: Design, manage, and evaluate regional programs that support youth development, prevention, and capacity building.
  • Training & Capacity Building: Develop and oversee the implementation of training programs, workshops, and capacity-building initiatives for youth, professionals, and partner organizations.
  • Partnerships & Networking: Establish and strengthen collaborations with local, regional, and international partners, including NGOs, UN agencies, government institutions, and the private sector.
  • Monitoring & Evaluation: Ensure the implementation of effective M&E frameworks to assess program impact and continuously enhance quality.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary program team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Resource Mobilization: Contribute to fundraising efforts by identifying funding opportunities, drafting proposals, and managing donor relationships.
  • Advocacy & Representation: Represent Mentor Arabia in conferences, regional forums, and stakeholder meetings to advocate for youth empowerment and prevention initiatives.
  • Financial Oversight: Work closely with the finance team to develop and manage program budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and transparency.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in social sciences, public health, international development, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in program management, preferably in the fields of youth development, prevention, or public health.
  • Proven experience in leading regional programs, managing teams, and building strategic partnerships.
  • Strong knowledge of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region’s social and development challenges.
  • Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, reporting, and monitoring.
  • Outstanding communication and advocacy skills in English and Arabic (French is a plus).
