Description of the Required Services

Mercy Corps is seeking to contract service providers to provide consultancy and certification services for MSMEs wanting to obtain GMP/ISO 22716 certification. The service provided should provide the selected MSME with the certification that allows them to be licensed for the certification mark which promotes and demonstrates their compliance with  the international standards on marketing & promotional materials, including letterhead, business cards, signage, and vehicles, premises, product packages, and websites.

Support sessions revolve around, but are not limited to, the below topics:

The quality management consultancy service should offer guidance and a step-by-step approach,  which aims at promoting the required standards within their operations. The service should thus include the following:

• Providing the MSME owner with the overview of key steps required for the certification
• Providing the MSME owner with the application and the project plan
• Conducting a GAP analysis audit for the MSME
• Conducting an Audit  Preliminary Assessment Activities & Document Review
• Conducting an Audit Certification Audit of System

The MSME owner will be responsible for getting the certification maintenance at their own expense

1. Conducting the GAP assessment
2. Conducting the needed audits
3. Providing the MSME with certification
