Field Recruitment Intern

The field recruitment intern (FRI) will assist in reaching out to public schools in Lebanon to introduce the project to principals and student; The FRI will help in contacting public schools and filling in data base of schools and students reached.   ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Assist with calling public schools for visits Assist in reaching out to public schools in the six regions in Lebanon to present the project to students; Assist in filing and record keeping of project activities and data entry of program statistics; Assist program staff in coordinating logistics and project activities; Assist in the preparation of field trips and organizing fairs; Promote and adhere to the principles of  Mercy Corps; Conduct himself/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to Mercy Corps and to not jeopardize its humanitarian mission. Other duties as assigned.   KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: Holder of a BA degree, Excellent organizational skills, computer, English and Arabic language skills.  Should be a self-starter and willing to work independently.    SUCCESS FACTORS: Have previous experience in public speaking and presentations, willing to work during weekends and sleep overnights in the field when necessary, have previous volunteering work.
