PROGRAM/DEPARTMENT SUMMARY: The Human Resources Department is a sub-department within the Operations department and is committed to implementing and maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and integrity in the HR services, namely; HR Administration, Policy Implementation, Recruitment, Selection and Placement & Organizational Development, Capacity Building and Career Development for Mercy Corps in Lebanon.   GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY: The Human Resources Officers mainly tasked with Recruitment & Selection implementing Mercy Corps induction/orientation plan and upholding the employee files as per MC International standards. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Screen, Interview, conduct reference checks & hire for MC Lebanon team Extend & negotiate offer  Letter to finalists Maintain & update the HR database Conduct exit interviews, Implement MC International’s induction & orientation programs for new hires  in coordination with all Line Managers participate  the implementation of the  performance appraisal as per MC International standards with all MC Lebanon Line Managers Maintain & update the MC Lebanon Org. Chart Report on manpower tracking and prepare consolidated recruitment report The HR Officer will conduct himself/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to Mercy Corps and to not jeopardize its humanitarian mission. Other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: Up to 3 years of experience in the HR sector Good understanding in the Lebanese Labor Law & Performance Management & Learning & Development Well organized and detail oriented Proficient in MS office
