Internship With Intaj Program

Background: Mercy Corps is committed to providing opportunities for learning and personal growth. Mercy Corps has opportunities to train individual on several topics and work fields. With funding from the UK government, Mercy Corps (MC) is currently working on the Improved Networks, Training and jobs – INTAJ programme to support vulnerable communities in the Beqaa and the North governorates in addressing their economic needs during a two year implementation process, from March 2016 to April 2018.   Purpose of the Training: 1-      Learn about MC mission and interventions 2-      Learn about INTAJ program and the interventions in the communities in Bekaa and North Lebanon 3-      Learn about implementing outreach and communication activities 4-      Learn about using the available communications tools to reach for new partners   Learning Objectives: 1-      Capacity building especially in the communications skills and event planning. 2-      Improve the ability and skills to communicate with partners, beneficiaries, and private sector. 3-      Be a part of the communications team and provide support to the programs team.   Timeframe / Schedule:  To be decided with the intern depending on the workload   Duration: 3 months
