Internship With Intaj Program - Monitoring & Evaluation

DISCLAIMER It is mandatory for applicants to mention the job title in the subject of their email Applicants who do not will be disregarded   Background: BA/S or equivalent in management information system, information technology, computer science, social sciences, or other relevant field preferred; Knowledge & Skills in quantitative data management Knowledge & Skills in surveys development Have a high sense of community Previous volunteering experience preferred Written and oral communication skills in English and Arabic ; Demonstrated attention to detail; high level of creativity, as well as cooperatively with team members;   Purpose / Project Description:   The intern will have an exposure in the implementation of INTAJ (Improved Networks, Training and Jobs); With funding from the Government of the United Kingdom, Mercy Corps (MC) is currently implementing INTAJ in Lebanon to support vulnerable communities in the Beqaa and the North governorates in addressing their economic needs.  INTAJ intends to improve stability and resiliency in target communities in Lebanon through reduced unemployment, and increased income for individuals and businesses. The program works on three different levels: skills building for individuals, SME support and recycling industry support. The Intern will mainly support the INTAJ M&E team in the North.   Learning Objectives:   Acquire knowledge about the basics of M&E Participate with the M&E team in implementing M&E activities (data entry, data management, developing surveys, etc.) Participate in the documentation process Participate in the planning for the weekly M&E activities Acquire knowledge and follow MC policies and procedures   Timeframe / Schedule:  2 months   The Intern will have the chance to participate in other INTAJ components and have the exposure to meet with the different departments during the training period
