Michel Daher Social Foundation (MDSF) is a leading non-profit organization committed to driving sustainable social, educational,
and economic development in Lebanon. With a long-standing presence in the Bekaa region, MDSF empowers vulnerable
communities by offering innovative programs focused on youth, education, health, entrepreneurship, and digital inclusion.
The Tech Pour Tous (TPT) project is one of MDSF’s flagship initiatives designed to equip women and youth in rural Bekaa with
the technical and interpersonal skills needed to thrive in Lebanon’s growing digital economy. Through hands-on training,
mentorship, and career-oriented experiences, the program creates a pathway to employment, self-reliance, and community
leadership.
Background
As part of the Tech Pour Tous initiative, MDSF is implementing an English Language Training program to enhance the basic communication and comprehension skills of 60 women between the ages of 15 and 35. These women are from underserved communities and have limited access to formal English education.
This training is a prerequisite to the technical tracks in Web Development, Data Science, Data Analysis, and Cybersecurity. Strengthening their English language proficiency will enable participants to better engage with course materials, online resources, and future employment opportunities in the digital economy.
Each group will receive 6 sessions of training (3 hours per session), totaling 18 hours of instruction over a 3-week period.
Objective
The objective is to deliver 18 hours of English Language training to each of the 4 groups of learners (15 women per group), focusing on practical language use relevant to digital literacy, professional communication, and technical learning environments.
Scope of Work
The Trainer will:
● Deliver 6 sessions per group for 4 groups over a 3-week period (each session lasting 3 hours)
● Provide beginner to lower-intermediate English instruction covering:
○ Basic grammar and vocabulary
○ Sentence structure and speaking practice
○ Reading and listening comprehension
○ Professional communication and email writing basics
○ Common terminology used in technology and online learning
● Incorporate interactive exercises, group activities, and conversational practice
● Develop a training curriculum and learning plan tailored to participants' level
Deliverables
The selected trainer is expected to deliver the following:
● Session plans and curriculum materials
● Delivery of 18 instructional hours per group, totalling 72h for the 4 groups
● Pre- and post-assessment tools and learning analysis
● Attendance sheets and engagement tracking
● Final report summarizing learning progress, challenges, and trainer recommendations
● Participant feedback compilation
Duration of Assignment
The assignment will be completed within 3 weeks from the start date.

● End Date: 25 July 2025
Trainer Qualifications
The selected trainer should meet the following criteria:
1. A degree in English Language, Education, Linguistics, or a related field
2. Minimum of 2 years of teaching or training experience in English as a second language (ESL), preferably with adult learners
3. Experience working with underserved communities and low-literacy learners
4. Ability to deliver engaging, participatory, and culturally sensitive instruction
5. Strong communication and facilitation skills in both English and Arabic
6. Familiarity with learner-centered methodologies
Location
The training sessions will be delivered at Michel Daher Social Foundation, Ferzol, Bekaa.
Step 1: Prepare your Bid Documents

Technical Proposal:
Course outline, content, digital tools used, and learning outcomes.
Financial Proposal:
Provide a breakdown of your total offer in USD, including session rates, expenses, and taxes. Outline the payment structure based on milestones tied to deliverables. (fill attached Annex 1)

● Legal Documents (MOF, ID, Registration Certificate)
Step 3: Offer Validity
Your offer must remain valid for 60 days from the submission deadline. You may be contacted for clarifications or further discussions during this time.
Step 4: Payment Terms
● Payment will be made via bank transfer or Telegraphic Transfer (TT) within 15 working days after service completion.
● Payment will be processed after deliverables are met.
● Note: Without a valid MOF certificate, tax deductions of 3.4% on goods and 8.5% on services will apply, according to the articles number 41 and 42 of the income tax law.
Step 5: Evaluation
Proposals will be evaluated based on:
● Technical (60%): curriculum, delivery approach, and qualifications.
● Financial (40%): Cost-effectiveness and competitiveness
