Trainer – Sales Development, Market Access, and Customer Retention

1. Objective of the Assignment
To empower MSMEs with practical sales and marketing tools that strengthen their customer
base, expand market reach, and sustain revenue growth.
The expert will:
● Help MSMEs develop a sales growth plan tailored to their business model.
● Identify potential local, national, and export markets.
● Build MSME capacity in customer retention, loyalty, and feedback management.
● Enhance sales channel diversification for improved market visibility. 

2. Scope of Work
The expert shall:
● Deliver two one-on-one clinics per MSME (2 hours each) focusing on:
o Session 1: Sales performance assessment, Sales analysis, target customer
mapping, and new market opportunities.
o Session 2: Customer relationship management, retention strategies, and digital
sales tools.

● Guide MSMEs in designing practical sales tracking tools (CRM sheets, follow-up
templates).
● Provide tailored recommendations for improving sales structure, pricing, and
distribution channels.
● Offer guidance on branding and market differentiation to improve competitiveness.

3. Expected Deliverables
● Individual Sales and Market Development Report — Prepared for each MSME,
summarizing market position, sales performance, customer segments, and key
opportunities for business growth.
● Customized Sales Growth and Customer Retention Plan — Developed for each MSME,
detailing actionable strategies for client retention, sales channel optimization, and
expansion into new markets.
● Attendance sheets and pictures.
5. Duration and Timeline
● Total MSMEs: 9
● Clinics per MSME: 2 sessions (2 hours each)
● Implementation Period: 3 November – 28 November 2025
● Sessions to be conducted on-site at MSME premises in West Bekaa and South Baalbek.

5. Qualifications and Experience
● Degree in Marketing, Business Development, or Sales Management.
● Minimum 10 years of professional experience in sales strategy, customer engagement,
and market access.
● Proven track record in coaching MSMEs or SMEs on sales growth and digital marketing.
● Strong understanding of local and export market trends in the agri-food sector.
● Excellent communication and coaching skills in Arabic and English is an asset.

7. Reporting and Supervision
The expert will report directly to the MDSF Project Manager, with coordination support from
the technical team for scheduling and documentation.

8. Payment Terms
● 100 % payment after completion of the one-on-one clinics, submission and approval of
all deliverables.
● Payments will be made via bank transfer or telegraphic transfer (TT), and a tax
deduction of 8.5% will apply in accordance with Lebanese law (Articles 41 & 42) if the
MOF documentation is not provided.

9. Submission Requirements
Applicants should provide:
● Updated CV or company profile with demonstrated experience in sales and market
access.
● Technical and financial proposal (cost per MSME or per clinic).
● Copy of MOF certificate and ID/registration document.
● Samples of previous work or case studies related to sales development or customer
retention.


10. Confidentiality
All MSME information and data collected through this assignment are confidential and may not
be shared or used for other purposes without prior written consent from MDSF.
