Web Development Trainer

 

As part of the Tech Pour Tous initiative, MDSF is implementing a specialized Web Development training program. This training  is targeted at young women between the ages of 15 and 35 who have limited exposure to technology. Before starting the web  development track, all participants will complete a foundational digital literacy course.  

The training aims to provide participants with practical web development skills and prepare them for real-world projects and  freelancing opportunities. Upon completion of the 5-month training, learners will transition into a 2-month internship program  where they will apply their newly acquired skills in a professional setting. This structured internship component ensures that  the training is practice-driven and employment-oriented.  

Objective  

The objective is to deliver 120 hours of Web Development training to one group of learners over a five-month period. The  program aims to equip participants with practical front-end and basic back-end development skills and prepare them for real world web development tasks.  

Scope of Work  

The Trainer will:  

● Deliver 120 hours of training across 5 months  

● Conduct 2 sessions per week, each lasting 3 hours  

● Cover topics including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, version control (Git), and deployment  ● Provide lesson plans, project-based tasks, and coding mentorship  

● Conduct pre- and post-assessments to track participant progress  

● Submit learner portfolios and final evaluation reports 

Deliverables  

The selected trainer is expected to deliver the following:  

● Session plans and curriculum materials  

● Delivery of 120 instructional hours  

● Participant evaluation and tracking tools  

● Final learner progress reports  

● Completed learner portfolios  

● Final assessment report with recommendations for internship placement and skill development  ● Administration of pre-tests and post-tests to assess learning outcomes  

● Midpoint progress update and end-of-training summary report  

Duration of Assignment  

The assignment will be completed within 5 months from the start date.  

● Start Date: 01 July 2025 

● End Date: 30 November 2025 

Trainer Qualifications  

The selected trainer should meet the following criteria: 

1. A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field  2. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in web development with a strong portfolio of completed projects  

3. Proven teaching or training experience in web development, especially with youth or adult learners in underserved  communities  

4. Proficiency in front-end and basic back-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git, and web hosting  platforms  

5. Familiarity with learner-centered, project-based instructional methodologies  

6. Strong communication, facilitation, and mentorship skills to guide participants with limited prior tech exposure  7. Ability to assess learning progress and adapt instruction to diverse learner needs  

Location  

The training sessions will be delivered at Michel Daher Social Foundation, Ferzol, Bekaa, Lebanon.

Step 3: Offer Validity  

Your offer must remain valid for 60 days from the submission deadline. You may be contacted for clarifications or further  discussions during this time. 

Step 4: Payment Terms  

● Payment will be made via bank transfer or Telegraphic Transfer (TT) within 15 working days after service completion. 

● Payment will be processed after deliverables are met.  

● Note: Without a valid MOF certificate, tax deductions of 3.4% on goods and 8.5% on services will apply, according to  the articles number 41 and 42 of the income tax law.  

Step 5: Evaluation  

Proposals will be evaluated based on:  

● Technical (60%): curriculum, delivery approach, and qualifications. 

● Financial (40%): Cost-effectiveness and competitiveness
