2. Purpose of the Position
The Psychotherapist will provide specialized mental health services to survivors of gender-based violence (GBV), promoting emotional recovery, well-being, and resilience through individualized, trauma-informed therapeutic interventions.

Application Submission Guidelines
3. Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Services
- Conduct psychological assessments and intake interviews.
- Provide individual, group, or family therapy as appropriate.
- Apply evidence-based therapeutic methods (e.g., CBT, trauma-focused therapy).
- Develop and regularly update individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor client progress and adapt interventions accordingly.
- Documentation and Case Management
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and ethical client records.
- Prepare timely session notes and progress reports.
- Coordinate closely with the assigned case manager for integrated care.
- Team Collaboration and Capacity Building
- Actively participate in case reviews, team meetings, and clinical supervision.
- Support staff capacity through self-care sessions.
- Contribute to the development of MHPSS tools and protocols when relevant.
- Ethical Practice and Conduct
- Uphold ethical and professional standards in all interactions.
- Demonstrate respect for cultural and social diversity.
- Maintain healthy therapist-client boundaries and ensure client safety.

• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice psychotherapy in Lebanon.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in psychotherapy.
• Experience working with trauma-affected populations and GBV survivors.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with humanitarian principles and protection frameworks.
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice psychotherapy in Lebanon.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in psychotherapy.
