Deputy Team Leader (Cyprus Programme)

Overview of Role: Responsible for supporting the Team Leader with the coordination, organisation and management of the team, ensuring they carry out duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. Responsibilities: •Responsible for ensuring team members understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures •Responsible for ensuring team is correctly briefed and understand their responsibilities at the start of each working day •Monitor the usage of equipment and materials, ensuring they are available as required, used correctly and replaced when required •Responsible for the safe execution of demolitions carried out by team in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures •Responsible for coordinating team deployments and movements in coordination with the Technical Operations Manager •Ensure the team medic is fully briefed on the CASEVAC plan and that the medic is positioned correctly throughout the minefield clearance •Ensure that all tasks are accurately recorded and reported where necessary Essential requirements: •Excellent technical knowledge/qualifications •Full understanding of Standard Operating Procedures and other drills •Ability and willingness to travel •Good physical fitness •Ability to lead and manage a team •English Proficiency
